Abstract:In order to better evaluate the climate livability of Zhejiang, this paper superimposes the results of the comfort evaluation and the risk evaluation to obtain the climate livability distribution map. In this paper, we use meteorological data, geographic data and socio-economic data, and select the human body comfort index under undulating terrain as the index of climate comfort evaluation, and also we select three types of disastrous weather, which are high temperature, continuous rain and typhoon, as indexes of multi-hazard comprehensive risk evaluation. According to this map, it can be concluded that most areas of Zhejiang are in suitable climate livability area. The climate livability of Zhejiang is dominated by high grades, especially in spring and autumn, during which time there are fewer meteorological disasters and more comfortable climates. The regions with relatively high levels of climate livability in the province are concentrated in the northern plains and the central west plains. The climate livability of the coastal areas of the East China is acceptable, but attention must be paid to prevent the occurrence of meteorological disasters. In general. Overall, the high-level climate livability suitable areas gradually increase from the southwest to the northeast in Zhejiang.
