Based on the character of geography and climate of jiangSu Province,the author s elected the fitting analysis method of drought index,and analysed the situation of drought.After analyzing the relationship between the climate and geography fa ctors including latitude,longitude,height,the drought situation of Jiansu was ob served and the risk evaluation was made using Space Analysis of GIS.This research was accurate,and it has played an important role in preventing drought.
