In this paper, we use the SWAN model to simulate the typhoon waves at the nearshore around the Taiwan island. The real data are added to the typhoon m odel of wind field to get the wind to drive the wave model. We use the self-nes ted method to provide the boundary. And we also compared the result between the real and simulated wave hight.
